The training camp was led by Dick McKee (Director of Training in GHQ and O/C Dublin Brigade).  Also present from GHQ were Gearoid O'Sullivan (Adj Gen); Leo Henderson (Asst Director of Communications) and Tom McMahon (Asst Director of Engineering).  The training camp was raided on the morning of August 13th by the RIC and British Army.  The British forces arrested four men (including O'Sullivan) and left.

The training camp continued.  A full list of the men who attended the training camp is given in Appendix C of Deasy (1973), pgs 333-334.

A short account from the RIC perspective of this raid is given in his memoir by John M Regan. He was a serving RIC man at the time – see Regan (2007), pgs 122-123.
