Fisher and Donegal-Monaghan

There is an interesting reference in Phoenix (page 267) to a letter to Craig on the 6^th December from Joseph R Fisher (who was later to be appointed a member of the Boundary Commission) in which he pressed for the inclusion in Northern Ireland of Donegal and north Monaghan and the transfer of south Armagh to the Free State as this result in a more compact and ‘ethnographic’ unionist territory.
